Dermal Fillers
Overview:
Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid — a substance that occurs naturally throughout the body and is responsible for skin hydration and volume — in an injectable gel form to restore lost facial volume, soften deep lines and folds, and sculpt and define facial contours. Unlike anti-wrinkle injections which relax muscles, fillers physically replace the volume and structure that diminishes naturally with age.

What to expect:
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment for your comfort. Your practitioner will then use a fine needle or cannula to place the filler precisely within the targeted tissue. The treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the areas being treated. Minor swelling and occasional bruising may occur and typically resolve within 3 to 7 days.
Suitable for:
Adults from their mid-20s onwards. Particularly effective for cheek volume loss, under-eye hollows, nasolabial folds, jawline definition, and chin projection.
Results:
Immediate improvement in volume, contour, and overall facial balance. Final results are visible once any initial swelling has settled — usually within 1 to 2 weeks. Results last between 9 and 18 months depending on the area treated, the product used, and individual metabolism.
