Microneedling
Overview:
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, uses a precision motorised device fitted with ultra-fine needles to create thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin's surface. This triggers the body's natural wound-healing response — stimulating a flood of new collagen and elastin production deep within the dermis. The result is visibly firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.
What makes it different:
Microneedling works with your body's own biology rather than introducing foreign substances. The micro-injuries created are tiny and superficial, but the collagen response they trigger is powerful and long-lasting. We enhance every microneedling session with the application of active serums — such as hyaluronic acid or vitamin C — which are absorbed up to 80% more effectively through the micro-channels, amplifying the overall result.
What to expect:
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to ensure your comfort. The microneedling device is then passed across the treatment area in precise, overlapping movements. You may experience mild redness and a sensation similar to light sunburn for 24 to 48 hours after treatment — this is a normal and expected part of the healing process. Most clients return to normal activities the following day.
Suitable for:
All skin types. Particularly effective for acne scarring, enlarged pores, fine lines, stretch marks, and overall skin laxity.
Results:
Gradual but significant improvement in skin firmness, texture, and tone over 2 to 4 weeks as new collagen forms. A course of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results, particularly for scarring and deeper skin concerns.
Duration:
60 – 75 minutes
